YOUR OWN ADDRESS

club.yourclub.com

Your club site already lives at an address we give you. If you own a domain, you can put it on your own instead — members see your name, not ours.

What you need: a domain you already own, and access to wherever its DNS is managed (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Cloudflare, your web host…). It takes about five minutes, and the change is reversible.

Step 1 — create one DNS record

In your domain’s DNS settings, add a CNAME record:

TypeName / HostValue / Points toTTL
CNAMEclubyourclub.sabiogolf.comAutomatic, or 3600

Name is the part in front of your domain. club gives you club.yourclub.com; golf gives you golf.yourclub.com. Some registrars want the whole thing (club.yourclub.com) rather than just club — follow whichever your form shows in its example.

Value is your Sabio Golf address, the one you sign in to today. Sign in and look at the address bar: it is the <something>.sabiogolf.com part.

Not the apex. This works for a subdomain — club.yourclub.com — not for yourclub.com itself. A bare domain cannot hold a CNAME, and pointing your main website at us would take your website down. If you want the bare domain, talk to us first.

Where to find it at the common registrars

GoDaddy

My Products → Domains → DNS next to the domain → Add New Record → Type CNAME. Name: club. Value: your Sabio address. Save.

Namecheap

Domain List → Manage → Advanced DNS → Add New Record → CNAME Record. Host: club. Target: your Sabio address. Save (the green check mark).

Cloudflare

Select the domain → DNS → Add record → Type CNAME. Name: club. Target: your Sabio address. Set Proxy status to DNS only (gray cloud, not orange) — the orange cloud stops our certificate being issued.

AWS (Route 53)

Route 53 → Hosted zones → your domain → Create record. Record name: club. Record type: CNAME. Value: your Sabio address. TTL 300. Routing policy: Simple. Create records.

If the domain is registered at Route 53 but its name servers point somewhere else, the record has to go wherever the name servers point — Route 53 will happily accept a record that nothing reads. Check Registered domains → your domain → Name servers against the hosted zone's NS record.

Squarespace / Google Domains

Settings → Domains → the domain → DNS Settings → Add record → CNAME. Host: club. Data: your Sabio address.

Wix

Domains → the domain → Advanced → Edit DNS → CNAME → Add. Host name: club. Value: your Sabio address.

Somewhere else

Look for “DNS”, “Advanced DNS” or “Name servers”. If the only option is to change name servers, stop — that is a bigger change and you should ask us first.

Step 2 — request it in your admin

In Admin → Your own web address, type the address you created (for example club.yourclub.com) and press Request it. Sabio Golf checks that the record points at your club and then issues the security certificate automatically — usually within minutes of the record appearing. There is nothing to pay for this, and your yourclub.sabiogolf.com address keeps working.

If the record isn't there yet: the request waits and keeps checking for up to 48 hours, so you can request it straight after saving the record. If it still hasn't gone live after that, check the record (Step 3) and request it again, or email us.

Step 3 — check it yourself

DNS changes usually appear within minutes, though a registrar may say up to 48 hours. You can check before contacting us:

If something goes wrong

Rather not touch DNS?

We will do it for you, including talking to your registrar’s support if needed, for a one-off setup fee. Message us with your domain and who it is registered with. Your existing Sabio Golf address keeps working either way — a custom domain is an addition, not a replacement.
